How I think about my retainer practice.

I run a fractional CTO retainer through QuantaLynk from €8K per month, six month minimum after a four week pilot. Two retainers held at any time. The retainer covers weekly 1:1, monthly written architecture review, hiring support on senior roles, board prep on the technical narrative, and vendor evaluations. It does not cover line management of engineers, daily standups, or production code authorship; those are different shapes I refer out.
